The Cost of Dental Implants

Cost often acts as the main constraining factor in the decision between dentures and dental implants for many prospective patients, and can be a serious roadblock to achieving a permanent solution to missing teeth. So what costs can a 7oaks Clinic Advanced Dental Implant Care patient expect, and how are we working to make dental implants more affordable to everyone?

Affordability

At 7oaks Clinic, we aim to provide an affordable dental implant treatment because we understand that dental implants are considered an investment by our patients. The cost of dental implants can cause people to choose less effective, alternative treatments for replacing their missing teeth, despite dental implants being often the best option for restoring your dental health as a lifelong treatment - so ensuring that the costs of getting dental implants are affordable is a key goal of our practice.

In order to provide prospective patients with as much information as they need to make a decision, we provide a free consultation - allowing anyone with missing or failing teeth to explore their dental implant options without a costly initial outlay. If you are suitable for dental implant treatment, you will be provided with a written treatment plan for you to consider. For our practitioners and patients, the consultation allows the patients’ expectations to inform the recommendations and possible treatments provided by our Clinic Director, Dr Gary Moynes, who leads our consultations. By removing a paywall to our consultation service, patients have the freedom to choose our dental implant treatment or consider other options without any additional pressure.

On a global scale, improvements in technology and the materials sourced to produce dental implants have benefitted implant practices and patients alike. In 2015, according to a survey by Dentistry Magazine, the average cost of a single tooth implant was £3,737 among implant practices in London and across South East England. However, costs have reduced, with many implant practices in this region offering single implant treatments for around £2,000.

The national dental survey showed that in the age group of 45 to 64 years olds dental treatments for missing teeth were equally shared across dental implants and dentures. And for age groups under 45, dental implants are considerably preferred to dentures. For people in this age group who are deterred from dental implants by their higher cost, you can seek information into the cost of your personalised dental implant treatment via our free consultation. This will allow you to make a true comparison between the long-term cost of replacing and repairing dentures every few years against the one-time dental implants procedure.

Payment Options

Whilst our implant consultations are free of charge, including CT scan analysis and a personalised treatment plans, we also offer finance options in order to make dental implants an option for all of our prospective patients.

Instead of paying up front for your full treatment cost, applying for finance allows patients to spread the cost of their treatments over a 12 to 60-month period. The finance is processed by our partner, dental and medical payment plan experts Chrysalis Finance, who will ensure to help you with any finance related queries along the way. Having this option can make some treatment options a reality, particularly where multiple teeth need replacing.
