New Patient Journeys

Over recent years there has become a trend for patients to be offered incentives, such as a free CT scan, to agree to sign up for treatment at the time of their initial consultation. We believe, and in accordance with regulatory guidance, this is an inappropriate way to encourage a patient to make such an important decision. It is essential that anyone embarking on dental implant treatment should have time to reflect on the information they have been provided with, having the opportunity to ask further questions, before agreeing to proceed with treatment.

From the beginning of the journey, we focus our role on empowering patients and giving them confidence to make the best decisions for their needs. We are happy to serve as a trusting partner for patients from our initial consultation.

The Consultation

We welcome all of our patients into a professional environment in order to discuss their concerns, and establish the right treatment pathways for them. After careful consideration we will provide a patient specific dental implant treatment plan for them to consider. They will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions during this process. Our free consultation allows anyone with missing or failing teeth to explore their dental implant options without a costly initial outlay. If you are suitable for dental implant treatments, you will be provided with a written treatment plan for you to consider.

Our available dental implant treatments include:

  • Single tooth implants - Single tooth implants are best placed to replace individual teeth, whether at the front or back of the mouth.

  • Bridge & Implants - This option offers two to three dental implants and a bridge, as not every tooth being replaced requires its own implant - thereby maximising the effectiveness of the implant treatment.

  • Full Arch Treatments -  These treatments offer a combination of multiple implants and a fixed bridge, with up to 6 teeth able to be replaced by dental implants which then allows for a much more secure bridge that covers a wider area.

  • All-on-4 Treatments - Also commonly referred to as “smile in a day” or “same day teeth”, these treatments include a fixed temporary replacement on the same day as the teeth are extracted and implants placed - avoiding the need for even temporary dentures during the treatment.

Pre-Surgical Planning

To achieve our patient’s desired functional and aesthetic outcomes we place great emphasis on pre-surgical planning by utilising a range of imaging (CBCT), digital diagnostic previews, and surgical guides.

Surgery

All surgery is performed by our expert surgeons with the goal of minimising surgical trauma and improving our patients post-surgical experience - as well as guaranteeing a superb aesthetic outcome. We do not pressure any patient into starting treatment. On the contrary, we follow all regulatory guidelines, which require a patient to be provided with a comprehensive written treatment plan for implant treatment, and time to consider whether they would like to proceed with treatment.

Implant prosthetics

Our pre-surgical planning and meticulous approach to surgery pays dividends, ensuring the finest aesthetic result. All functional requirements are attended to and every care is taken to ensure the patient’s needs and wishes are met.

Depending on the treatment options available to our patients, this can include smile in a day procedures (also known as All-on-4). For patients who are missing all of their upper or lower teeth, Smile-In-a-Day dental implant treatments have some advantages over traditional dentures and traditional implants procedures, including; reduced treatment times, immediate results, and reduced costs.

Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is our prime concern. At the end of treatment we ensure that satisfaction has been achieved before offering final advice
